The clay model for this work was executed in the hamlet of Monsac located in the French countryside in the Dordogne Region near the towns of Bordeaux and Bergerac. Through the mold making and casting processes the figure is available in bonded marble (shown above) as well as bonded copper and bonded bronze. The figure portrays an elegant but strong, young female vineyard worker harvesting the autumn’s crop of grapes in preparation for producing the flavorful wines from the Bordeaux. |
